Description: Index to marriages recorded with the Barron County Register of Deeds and forwarded to the Wisconsin Secretary of State. This index was later transferred to the State Bureau of Health Statistics. The index is organized by first letter in the husband's last name and thereunder chronologically by date of marriage. Entries show the names of the husband and the wife, and the marriage date, and cite the appropriate volume and page number in the marriage registers. There is no access to the marriage registers by the wife's family name. This is part of a statewide series (Series 2074) at the Library of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. The Genealogical Society of Utah holds the master negative.
